Your gatherings stay yours. We do not sell your personal data—not to advertisers, not to anyone. Party-related data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Staff access is gated, logged, and kept to the minimum needed. No ad pixels or tracking cookies.
Who this notice covers
This notice covers people who visit mehfeel.app, join the Mehfeel early-access list, or contact us. A private guest invitation has additional context from the host who sent it; it is never listed publicly.
Personal data we collect
When you join early access, we collect the email address you provide, your consent version and time, limited campaign source fields when present, and delivery status for the confirmation message. We use keyed, one-way identifiers to apply abuse limits without storing raw IP addresses.
When you contact us, we receive the details in your message and the contact information you choose to provide. Our hosting provider also produces necessary security and request logs.
Why we use it
- To confirm your request and manage the early-access list.
- To tell you about your Mehfeel early-access opportunity.
- To answer questions, protect the service, and prevent abuse.
- To meet legal obligations and investigate security issues.
Joining early access does not subscribe you to a newsletter. The website does not use advertising pixels, third-party browser scripts, or tracking cookies.
Who processes data for us
We use Firebase infrastructure to host and operate Mehfeel and Postmark to deliver transactional early-access email. These providers process data for us under their service terms. We may also disclose information when required by law or needed to protect people and the service.
How long we keep it
An unconfirmed early-access email is removed after 30 days. If you withdraw, the email and active token are removed; a one-way suppression key is retained for up to 12 months so your choice is respected. Operational and legal records are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for their purpose.
Your choices and rights
You can choose not to join, withdraw through the link in an early-access email, or ask to access, correct, or delete personal data associated with you. Depending on applicable law, you may also raise a grievance or ask how your data has been handled.
Security and children
We use access controls, short-lived confirmation credentials, restricted browser policies, and data minimisation to protect information. No online system is risk-free. Early access is intended for adults who host or organise gatherings, not for children to register independently.
